Navigating Disordered Eating and Body Image in Daily Life.

A safe space for Understanding, connection, and moving to the next phase of recovery.

Food and body image touch nearly every part of daily living—meals with family, social gatherings, bussiness meetings, shopping for clothes, or even a passing glance in the mirror. For those struggling with disordered eating or difficult feelings about their bodies, these everyday experiences can feel overwhelming, isolating, or filled with shame.

This group is designed as a safe and supportive space for those who want to explore these challenges with others who understand. Together, we’ll practice tools for navigating daily life, untangling the pressure of diet and wellness culture, and building a more compassionate relationship with food and body.

What to Expect

  • Connection and Support: Share your experiences in a community that “gets it.”

  • Practical Coping Skills: Learn strategies for managing food and body image triggers in daily situations.

  • Creative Exploration: Use reflective discussion and expressive techniques (such as art therapy prompts) to deepen self-understanding.

  • Empowerment: Shift away from shame and perfectionism toward self-acceptance and resilience.

Who This Group Is For

This group is open to adults who struggle with disordered eating patterns, rigid food rules, body dissatisfaction, or a complicated relationship with food and movement. Whether you’re in recovery, seeking support alongside individual therapy, or simply curious about what healing might look like, you are welcome here.
