Counseling And Therapy in Herndon, Virginia

Feel grounded. Feel connected. Feel more like yourself.

meet Sabrina MenefeE, M.ED, Resident in Counseling

Hi, I’m Sabrina.

I’m here to support you as you navigate the challenges, transitions, and experiences that shape who you are and who you are becoming. As a Resident in Counseling, I’m passionate about helping individuals build a stronger connection with themselves, better understand their emotions and experiences, build a deeper connection between their mind and body, and feel more grounded and confident in their everyday lives.

I am passionate in my work with teens, and adolescents. So often the shifts in relationships, identity, bodies, school pressures, family dynamics, and an ever-changing world can feel overwhelming; however, I create a space where you can show up authentically (or maybe even awkwardly), and develop the tools you need to better understand yourself and the world around you.

My clinical interests also include trauma, disordered eating, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I integrate somatic and body-based approaches into my work, recognizing that our experiences are held not only in our thoughts, but also in our bodies and nervous systems.

My Approach

An Integrative Approach to Support Meaningful Change

My therapeutic approach is integrative, collaborative, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I draw from expressive modalities, somatic and body-based practices, cognitive behavioral approaches, and client-centered care to help clients better understand themselves, their emotions, the world around them.

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable showing up as themselves, exploring difficult experiences, and building greater connection with their emotions and bodies. Whether we are navigating the adolescence, disordered eating, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, or struggles with mood or identity, our work together is guided by your individual needs, strengths, and goals.
